Entirely Sauvignon Blanc from a single vineyard, the Reyneke reserve white is fermented in 80% new French oak before being left for thirteen months on the gross lees in barrel. This has a flinty smokiness on the nose, with ripe grapefruit and mandarin peel. The texture is rich, pithy and mouthfilling, with minerality and just a hint of blanched almonds on the long and focussed finish.
