Taking white Bordeaux as inspiration this is a blend of 55% Sauvignon Blanc and 45% Semillon aged in 40% new French oak on lees for 11 months which lends a beautiful creamy richness to the zesty and herbaceous palate with suggestions of guava and passion-fruit. Chamonix bottled their 2013 Reserve White under cork but discovered they didn’t have enough of their normal bottles to finish the run, thinking on his feet Rick spotted a spare pallet of screwcap bottles and so began the ninth instalment in the Liberator Series.
