2020 Grenache Blanc, Skinner, El Dorado
An exciting wine from a more unusual part of California, in El Dorado County situated on the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. The wine is fresh and nervy, with a lot of mineral tones and noticable acidity considering its Californian origins. Slightly smoky and full of bright, fresh lemon and white peach. Some sweeter spice notes as the palate goes on with ginger and anise.
