Monte Bello is one of the great Bordeaux blends of the world, and a Lay & Wheeler favourite. From altitude, and planted on limestone, it's one of the freshest expressions of Cabernet you'll find in California. Not yet bottled, the 2019 has a saturated ruby colour, with some lovely freshness and dark red fruits. There's generous depth of flavour and structured tannins showing just how brilliant this wine will become.
