2018 is one of the best Napa Valley vintages in recent decades. The Cabernets are packed full of concentrated bright fruit and densely packed, fine tannins. At Rudd, the 2018 Oakville Estate has a distinctly classic Cabernet structure that echoes that of modern Bordeaux, with earthy iron notes from their red soils complementing the power of the fruit, bringing balance and harmony.
