The 2014 Pinot Noir Presqu'ile Vineyard is bright, focused and super-expressive. Blood orange, bright red cherry fruit and mint are front and center. Pliant, silky and open-knit, the 2014 captures the aromatics, forward fruit and delicate personality of this site while avoiding the more vegetal notes that can be found on this site. At the same time, Ernst Storm's Presqu'ile Pinot has a real depth and density to it. The whole clusters are evident but also very nicely integrated. This is a very strong wine for the year.
