2020 Angel Flower Pinot Noir, Pyramid Valley 'Botanical Collection', Canterbury
From the limestone slopes in Canterbury comes the seriously impressive Angel Flower Pinot. A gentle, fragrant style of Pinot next to its most powerful stable mate in the Pyramid Valley portfolio, Earth Smoke, Angel Flower is full of bright red plum and cranberry fruit, with exotic spice and light smoky notes. The tannins are chalky and incredibly fine grained which gives a lovely texture to the wine and carries it through the palate to a long, red-fruit-driven finish.
