2013 Pinot Noir, Kusuda Wines, Martinborough
One of Jancis Robinson’s ‘favourite producers on the planet’, ‘Hiro’ Kusuda has proved in his relatively short time in New Zealand why the Japanese are so highly thought of for their craftsmanship. 2013 was a brilliant vintage throughout New Zealand and perfectly expresses the gorgeous floral aromatics and supple fruit quality of Kusuda’s Pinot Noir. Consistently one of the best and not to be missed this year.
