Immediately spicy on the nose, this is extremely enticing. The palate is intense and fresh, with notes of wild blossoms, hedgerow characters, cherry, sweet spice and liquorice. The tannins are ripe, but very firm, providing a bold framework for the fruit. Ripe, but held firmly in check, this is a very serious, very good Pinot.
