Very attractive and pure on the nose, with dark berry fruit and spice characters. This enticing scent leads into a fresh palate that has none of the jamminess that can define McLaren Shiraz. Beautifully balanced, with fine, dense tannins and a concentrated core of hedgerow fruit, this has a lovely velvet texture. Finishes long, spice-laden and with a delicious dart of acidity. Incredibly moreish.
