2019 Barbaresco, Gaja, Piedmont
The 2019 Barbaresco from Gaja is a beauty. Initially reticent on the nose, there's hints of rose petal and clove that come out with air. The palate is structured and intense, and there's a fragrance and a purity here. This is simply delicious, with a very long life ahead.
