The 2018 Guidalberto is a beautifully open-knit, fragrant, well-balanced wine from Tenuta San Guido. Notes of fresh cherries, wild herbs, and a hint of exotic spice all swirl from the glass. The palate is fresh and pure, with silky tannins and a long and elegant finish. Its bigger brother, Sassicaia, is prized for its elegance above all else: this is certainly made in its image.
