2015 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione, Isole e Olena
From the oldest Sangiovese vines, with a little Petit Verdot in the blend, this is ample, generous, and utterly beguiling. There's a balance of ripe fruits, citrus, and plenty of spice, and incredibly silky tannins. This is long, mineral, and incredibly high-class. Outstanding.
