This is a standout Chianti Classico from a wonderful vintage. Notes of plum and dark cherries jump from the glass, with hints of mint and wonderful freshness on the palate. There's a long, silky, mineral finish, with brings the palate back together after an expansive attack. A stunning wine, and ageworthy, too.
