This outstanding Barbera comes from a single vineyard in Verduno, and wowed us with its complexity and energy. There's notes of smoked meats, ripe beef tomatoes and blue fruits. The palate is cool and suave, but with so much potential and concentration. With a long, unfurling finish, this is a Barbera from the very top drawer.
