Antinori picked pretty early in 2011 as a result of widespread drought, and are convinced that they have made a wine which is superior to the superb, and incredibly highly rated, 2010, which received 98 points from Antonio Galloni. The 2011 is sleek and concentrated with notes of fresh and dried fruit in perfect harmony, underpinned by a suave Italian structure. Beautifully constructed, this is truly one of the great wines of Tuscany, if not the world.
