Not much wine is made from this celebrated vineyard, the jewel in the crown of the Busso estate. Gone are the new barrels and it’s all the better for it. Very complex aromatics including morello cherry, cured meat and pot pourri, the palate is dense yet fine and actually pretty approachable due to the sweet tannins and juicy fruit of the 2011 vintage.
