Borgese is Piero Busso's personal favourite vineyard and he owns 1.5 hectares, with vines ranging from 30 to 55 years of age. Slightly deeper colour, with a less classic nose, this is richer and darker fruit on the palate and seems somewhat subdued and slightly brooding. There is real depth and concentration and, while the wine is currently closed, it will be really good and should open out in a relatively short time.
