Cantina del Pino made great Barbaresco in 2005 and this is traditionally Renato Vacca¹s top Cru. The nose is a combination of spice, minerals and dark fruits, whilst the palate is defined and focused. The style is more linear than the Albesani and not as exotic, due to the cooler climate of the site. Fine, with integrated tannins and good intensity. Powerful and taut, it is somewhat reined-in at present, but shows absolute class.
