The Castello owns less than half a hectare of Monvigliero, which is a large vineyard at the eastern extremity of Verduno and regarded as the finest. The style is open, with expansive fruit providing a lovely elegance and purity. Yet, underneath, the power of the vineyard is evidenced in the tannins that give this a quite assertive structure. I really like this and it has an excellent future.
