Arione is the southernmost of the grande vigne of Serralunga and as you would expect the style is very different from La Morra.The colour is relatively pale with a distinctive garnet hue.The nose is deep and brooding with elements of spice, minerals, dark fruits and a slight overlay of tar so typical of wines from Serralunga d’Alba.The palate offers power, depth and concentration yet it has real elegance. Perhaps not unexpected from a La Morra producer and a vineyard in Serralunga. This is very articulate. Tremendous wine.
