Vignolo is to the west of Bricco Boschis and north of the famous Monprivato vineyard.The vines were planted in 1966 with a south southwest exposition.A brick/garnet colour with a lovely nose of ripe red fruits, flowers, spice and rose petal. The palate is powerful but refined, mouthfilling but not at all heavy.This has excellent definition and superb length but it is all still tightly wound.There is a real core of concentration here. Very good indeed.
