2016 Lalama, Dominio do Bibei, Ribeira Sacra, Galicia
A blend of Mencía with 10% Brancellao, Mouratón, Sousón and Garnacha Tintorera, this is a beautiful, juicy, savoury, fragrant red that’s simply delicious. There’s a touch of Syrah pepperiness, Pinot Noir florality, and a saline finish that’s incredibly moreish. It will age beautifully, but is already wonderful. A lovely, lovely wine.
