The 2015 Roda I from Bodegas Roda is a stunning wine from one of Rioja’s finest estates. On the nose come notes of freshly picked plums, exotic spices, and a hint of tapenade. The palate is sunkissed, with a core of dark, pure fruit, and a silky texture that coats the mouth. There’s stunning freshness on the finish, that has you reaching for another glass. This is a wonderful wine: it shows why Roda are the Tempranillo masters.
