Always the most elegant and perfumed of Sebastian's wines, the 2018 Centgrafenberg is a towering Pinot Noir, with notes of wild flowers, red berries, and an incredibly delicate tannic structure. A really beautiful wine.

The 2018 Centgrafenberg Spätburgunder GG is fascinatingly pure, fresh, refined and elegant on the delicate and spicy nose, with great finesse, precision and some toasty and smoky notes. Tight and intense on the palate, this is a vibrantly fresh, tensioned and juicy Pinot with a silky texture and charming red berry aromas. The finish is straight, clear and elegant and reveals stimulating salinity and mineral tension. This is a mouth-salivating Pinot Noir from iron-rich sandstone soils. Tasted as a sample in January and April 2020.
