The texture here is pure Grand Cru. This silky, powerful wine offers so much: spice, fine tannins, and wonderful balance of flavour. It’s long and cool and so suave. There’s a nerviness to the fruit, but it remains beautifully balanced. Simply marvellous Pinot Noir - this would be so many times the price in Burgundy.
