This is the most historic vineyard owned by the Donnhoff family, with the first vintage documented in 1781. The sample was reserved at first, but upon swirling, there’s so much going on. There’s fine apricot and peach, and it’s so saline on the palate. Clear and defined, with a mineral finish and lacy acidity. Brilliant. 9% ABV.
