Pol Roger’s prestige cuvée is produced only in the very finest years in commemoration of one of their most loyal and famous customers, Sir Winston Churchill. It is a style befitting the man, particularly the 1995 vintage, which focuses on power and structure, rather than the more elegant style of some of their other cuvées. This is a naturally big wine, with strong almond aromas, in the mouth it is rich and abundant, with a delightfully tight texture supported by fine bubbles and a fabulously long finish. A great wine which will bring enormous enjoyment for many years to come.
