A true Clos, surrounded by a high wall, Clos du Bourg sits above Vouvray with the town right at the bottom of the vineyard. This is true Loire Chenin: it has ripeness of apple fruit and nashi pear, with an elegant ‘tuffeau’ character imparted by Vouvray’s famous terroir.
