Astonishingly, Jacky’s Rémus is produced from vines between 50 and 80 years of age and yielding just 20 hectolitres per hectare. The result is an über-silky, leesy-rich Chenin with rounded stone fruits, crystallised apple and almonds, and a delicate honey-marzipan note. Needless to say, it’s delicious; incredible mouthfeel and impossible not to swallow on tasting.
