The jewel in the Cotat crown. The nose is tightly coiled revealing subtle passionfruit and wet, salty rocks. A hint of nettle opens up with air. On the palate, what is most striking about this cuvée is its real richness and depth where the sucrosity and general feeling of weightiness is balanced by searing acidity and a powerfully mineral core. This is no ordinary Sancerre, indeed it is no ordinary top cuvée. This is a wine that needs time to uncoil but it is undoubtedly the star of the vintage.
