Dry, delicate, crystalline purity continues through onto the palate, where powerful but subtle flavours combine to create a beguilingly complex flavour. This is a wine of paradox: fiercely austere in its youth but with age, this will soften and its delightful lemon fragrances will undoubtedly develop into a beautifully graceful, lively and delicious wine – one of which Didier Dagueneau himself would be justifiably proud.
