2013 St-Joseph Les Granits Blanc, M. Chapoutier

2013 St-Joseph Les Granits Blanc, M. Chapoutier

St-Joseph has to be one of the most underrated appellations in France. Initially reticent but with air comes notes of white pepper, wet stones and a creamy, salty palate. Great value and for more immediate drinking than the white wines of Hermitage but a lovely expression of Marsanne.
