Another testament to the nature of 2004. Here Clairette is the dominant variety, comprising 40% of the blend, and as at La Roquette, only 50% of the wine was barrel-fermented/matured. This has allowed a brilliant tension between freshness of flavour and mouthfeel to be struck. The wine is discreet, hinting at honey, while capturing notes of a nutty and floral nature. The texture is sensational, silky smooth and delicate. Beautifully woven acidity adds to a complex and compelling finish.
