Made from 90 to 100 year old vines planted on a granite soil, this is a seriously impressive wine that shows the quality of the vintage. With dark, brooding fruit, this is more savoury than sweet at this early stage. The oak is perhaps a little overwhelming, but I have no doubt this will soften. With an incredibly muscular structure, this is outstanding.
