This is a very dark, serious and brooding wine from the enigmatic Laurence Féraud. Savoury, meaty aromas combine with spice, pepper and garrigue, dried leaves and clove. It has soft, supple autumnal flavours on the palate, with excellent mid-palate concentration, sound tannic structure, and outstanding length. It should be approachable on release, yet given the track record here, it will undoubtedly also age gracefully.(Given 90-93 points in the Wine Advocate, Robert Parker)
