Thierry Faravel's wines always show a supple, open nature, which does not hinder their ability to age, and - to our mind - makes them one of the finest domaines in Gigondas. Deep dark cherry with beautiful freshness on the nose, and a note of scented herb. The palate is striking; a lush fruit. Sweet ripeness, showing a round, open character - it is easy to pick up on this wine's early drinking appeal, and yet ten years' cellarage will result in greater complexity. A wine to follow vintage in, vintage out.
