A wine to buy every year. The nose on this beautiful wine, from the south-facing Vaucopin’s spot, is simply gorgeous. It’s exactly what we want from Chablis: lemon oil, mandarin rind, crushed rocks and oyster shell, with amazing purity and definition on the finish. Dry, mineral, and so focussed, it’s a brilliant expression (and should come in at many times the price).
