Les Butteaux is well known thanks to Raveneau’s parcels here: this is a premier cru of the highest order. 2017 is a superb vintage in the region, and here the chalky limestone soils of Butteaux have produced a complex and taut wine, with notes of lemon oil, white blossom, and some just baked bread. It's everything you'd look for in a top Chablis premier cru.
