Clavoillon sits on clay and with age transforms into the muscular brother to the other crus. On early tasting there is less up front fruit on the palate than the straight Puligny, with a focus on texture and intensity. Thanks to the freshness this will be long-lived: a brooding, classic 1er Cru with engaging tension.
