2010 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Demoiselles, Domaine Philippe Colin
A tiny site of just 0.6 hectares, bordering Le Montrachet, this is particularly rare and highly sought after, as the quality is often held to be of Grand Cru level. Although rather closed at the moment, there is real potential, as this wine will take time to unwind. Its mineral driven palate is linear great body and mouthfeel, an impression of richness ultimately prevails on a fabulously long finish.
