2006 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Combettes, Etienne Sauzet
A fraction of the fruit for this cuvée was harvested on the cusp of noble-rot. This is reflected in the smoothly textured honeyed nuances intermingling with the yellow plum and lime fruit. Great concentration, depth and complexity, the acidity is seamlessly integrated and carries the palate to a very long finish. The persistence underlines the impressive nature of this wine.
