2017 Volnay 1er Cru Les Taillepieds, Domaine de Montille
Arguably the vineyard for which the De Montille family are best known, made from sixty year old vines. 100% whole bunch. A bit more closed today, but there’s silkiness, and fine acidity. This is so saline, with beautiful structure: love the texture of this. It’s such a baby, but it goes on for minutes.
