This famous Gevrey-Chambertin domaine has some impressive vineyards in Beaune, thanks to inheritance through marriage. Coincidentally, this vineyard is named ‘Les Mariages’ because young couples would walk through it on their way to be wed. 2017 is such a charming vintage, drinking so well right now. This has crunchy, fresh, and well-defined red fruit, and precise peppery tannins.
