Nicolas sees his (increasing) holdings in the Côte de Nuits-Villages as the future of his domaine, where prices aren’t as high. And his faith was rewarded in 2016, as his crop was unaffected by bad weather. The wine is juicy and pure, with mineral freshness and pleasant grip. There’s lots of energy and depth, and a long, pure finish.
