2015 Pommard Les Cras, Domaine de Montille
Cras means chalk, and the chalky texture that comes from this vineyard ensures that this is a crisp and very precise Pommard, with a beautifully juicy character. There’s an intensity to the tannins, as you’d expect from the village, but they’re ripe and mouth coating, giving a delightful texture to the wine.
