2013 Corton Rognet Grand Cru, Domaine Taupenot-Merme
Displaying superb fruit concentration and beautiful aromatics, this is one of the more elegant Cortons you are likely to come across. There is plenty of structure, but fruit is definitely winning the race, with silky tannins playing a supporting rather than leading role and acidity providing perfect balance.
