Maxime Cheurlin describes this site as having very poor soil and therefore producing wines that show a lot of elegance and finesse. Certainly, this is a very well-balanced and fragrant style, with fine tannins and a vein of fine acidity providing structure to a sweet-ripe fruit core. Subtle oak spice and a mouth-watering freshness carry through onto the long, pleasing finish.
