With so little produced in 2011 (just three barrels) and with such an impressive level of concentration, it is little wonder this cuvée is subject to 100% new oak. A firm backbone of tannins and bright acidity carries a voluminous core of black forest fruit and exotic spice which builds towards a savoury and complex finish lasting long after we’d surfaced from the cellar.
