2009 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru, Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux
Described by Paschal as "excessively fine and elegant", this is a highly attractive wine, with pretty, fragrant fruit coming through on the expressive nose. On the palate, this has a subtle mineral nature and a feminine accent to the soft, berry fruit. The tannins are present, but subtly and finely realised, giving this wine an overwhelming impression of finesse.
